Window and workspace information
Tallspace reads window titles, application/process names, display identities, and window positions to arrange and restore workspaces. Saved layouts, rules, session/recovery information, and preferences are stored locally. Window titles can contain information about documents or pages you have open, so treat saved layouts as personal files.
Local diagnostics and security
Local diagnostic logs help explain window-management and recovery problems and may contain window or process information. Tallspace does not upload these workspace records to a TreeByte cloud-sync or analytics service. Your Windows account, disk protection, device backups, and other software affect the security and retention of these files.
Stores and support
Microsoft Store processes store-account, download, purchase, and technical information under its own policy. TreeByte does not receive your full payment-card details. If you choose to send us a log or screenshot for support, review it first and remove private window titles or other information you do not want to share.
Retention and your choices
You can edit or remove saved rules and workspaces, stop the app, and remove its local settings, recovery files, and logs when no longer needed. Uninstalling may leave some user-created or profile data behind; contact us for help locating it. Removing local data does not erase copies in backups or store records. We do not sell window information or use it for advertising.
Support, security, and changes
If you contact TreeByte Software, we receive the contact details, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your request, not to enroll you in marketing. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. For privacy questions or access, correction, and deletion requests, email contact@treebytesoftware.com.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no device or network is completely secure. Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to address the request or meet applicable obligations. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information to us.
This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. Our general privacy policy separately covers the company website and optional mailing lists.
